I've always loved the sky and was determined to get myself up there one way or another. When it became clear that becoming a flight attendant for my favorite airline was not a possibility, I turned to the cockpit. So one day on a return flight from Disneyland I decided to chat with the pilots and a few months later found myself wobbling down the taxiway in a little Cessna 152. Smitten by the flying bug after one flight, I ended up taking a three year break just when I was getting close to finishing up on my Private Pilot training before finally getting my hands back on the controls. A year and a half after I resumed training, at the cost of two chipped nails and one bruised up knee (long story), I became a Certified Flight Instructor!
